I know there is widespread concern about the spread of COVID-19 Coronavirus, so yesterday I asked the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care about his department's public information campaign to ensure this virus remains under control in the United Kingdom.
It was great to meet with the Chief Executive of Swanley Council, Steve Nash, to discuss the work they are doing for local residents. I also met with the Mayor, Cllr. Lesley Dyball, and the Town Council Leader, Cllr. Michael Horwood.
It was great to visit Lady Boswell's and see the amazing work that teachers, staff and students are doing there. The standard of education in our constituency is incredible, we must keep it that way and that is why I will be making the case for rises in Kent's per pupil funding.
