I was delighted to get out on a walk with the Sevenoaks Northern Branch of Every Step Counts around Greatness Recreation Ground. The walk was organised by local district councillor Irene Collins who, along with Cllr Anna Firth, set up Every Step Counts in order to promote health and well-being during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.
There are around 10 Every Step Counts walking groups across the district and it was a pleasure yesterday to speak to a number of the walkers and hear their stories - particularly how they benefit from the walks both physically and mentally.
Everyone had a great afternoon and I highly recommend going along.
