With the May Bank Holiday approaching, I’ve written to the Leader of Sevenoaks District Council Leader Kevin Maskell, to seek his urgent reassurance that plans are in place to respond quickly to any unauthorised developments which may occur over the weekend.
We’ve seen a number of incidents during recent Bank Holiday weekends, and while I know the Council takes this seriously, it’s vital that residents know the council are ready to take immediate action where needed. As I have said many times before, waiting for the office to reopen on Tuesday is unacceptable and too late.
I’ve also asked for clear guidance on what residents should do if they spot any suspected breaches.
