Since December, Sevenoaks District Council have now paid out over £5.5million in business support grants to local businesses. This has been a lifeline to so many, and testament to the hard work of the team at SDC over the last month.
I was glad the Treasury listened to my calls for additional business support in light of the Tier 4 and subsequent lockdown, but I am very aware that issues still remain with support for some of the self-employed and other businesses. I continue to raise these concerns.
