Laura Trott MP meets with local Cllrs at Swanley station to discuss campaign to secure disabled access

Swanley station - disabled access

My campaign to obtain disabled access to the Everest Place entrance of Swanley Station continues with Swanley Town and District Councillors, and it was great to meet with Cllrs Michael Horwood, Keith Mitchell, Lesley Dyball and Nina Scott at the station recently to celebrate the news that (with help from Sevenoaks District Council and Darenth Valley Community Railway Partnership) funding has been obtained to carry out a feasibility study for disabled access. 

This study is needed in order for any works to be authorised, so this is a great step in the right direction, and testament to all the hard working going into making this vital improvement.
